What was the relation of Batash with the land of the Philistines?
According to the INAA results from the Jerusalem laboratory, the
pottery found could be traced to Ashdod and to the Ekron region
as well as to Lachish which probably means that the sharp
distinctions between various regions in Israel of the 7th century
BC were not that rigorous as was usually accepted.
