Astroid impact that finished Dynosaurs

Overview of what happened 65 million years ago

65 million years ago, an astroid hit the earth at the Yucatan Peninsula in the Golf of Mexico. A krater was created, which measures an estimated 110x45x40 km.
Because of the shock, continental plates moved and volcanoes started to erupt everywhere on earth
A thick cloud of vaporized crater-rock darkened the sky together with volcanic dust. Tectites rained down on forests, living creatures and into the seas
Wildfires broke out that added more ashes and smoke into the atmosphere. As a result, the sun could not penetrate the mantle of dust, smoke and ashes so that no photosynthesis could take place for months. As a result of that, all large Dynosaur herbifors died. Soon thereafter, also other large carnivors that feasted on the dynosaur were without food and died too. Only fish and small animals that can hibernate without food for several months survived in small dens below the surface, where estimated temperatures are calculated of 35 degrees Celsius.
From that moment on, a new evolution started
